Apex Legends’ Raiders Collection Event is coming on 7th December which will introduce Wattson’s heirloom after months of speculation and leaks. Players will be able to earn limited-time cosmetics from the Raiders Collection event and participate in the limited-time modes.
But the highlight of the new patch is the major balance changes that are coming to Apex Legends which will change the game as we know it. After two years of being an integral part of the game, Arc Stars are getting some serious nerfs. While they will continue to be good if you can land skill shots (or get lucky), they will no longer be effective for area denial. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming patch.
Apex Legends Raiders Collection Event patch notes
The new Collection event will come with a limited-time battle pass which you can grind out for earning free rewards. Here is a preview of the new battle pass:
Raiders Collection Event
The new Raiders Collection event will feature 24 limited-time cosmetics and unlocking all of the items will automatically reward you with the Wattson heirloom.
Apex Legends Raiders Collection Event Balance Changes
Seer
Decreased Focus of Attention detonation delay from 1.6s to 1.4s
However, after four months of evaluating his use in the live game, the detonation delay seems a little too sluggish according to Respawn. More balance changes will be made to improve the character if his usage rate in the current meta does not increase.
Arc Star
Sticks
Base stick damage lowered from 30 -> 10
Shield Damage Multiplier increased from x3 -> x4 (stick on shielded enemy will now max out at 40 instead of 90)
Sticking an enemy now applies a slow debuff
Non-Sticks
Slow duration is now driven by distance to the center of Arc Star detonation
The high damage potential for sticking enemies will be retained with a larger damage multiplier. However, there will be a lower damage potential for proximity-based stuns that you can get off when trying to control an area.
Splatter Rounds
Removed increased magazine capacity
Crafting
Shotgun ammo, sniper ammo, and arrow crafting output reduced to a single stack
