Highlights
Ash's heirloom is likely to be added in the very last Collection event of Apex Legends Season 16.
Wraith is expected to get an Heirloom recolor later this season and the current version of the Kunai has already received some new animations.
The ongoing Anniversary Collection event is live for another week and is giving players a chance to obtain 150 Heirloom Shards.

Apex Legends dataminers have discovered that Ash is the next legend to get a brand-new Heirloom. The final Season 16 collection event which is likely to drop in late-March or early-April will introduce the new Heirloom. Ash recently got a number of new animations added to the game files and datamined information points that she will be skipping the line past Fuse and Horizon to get an Heirloom. Here is everything we know about Apex Legends’ Next Heirloom in Season 16.

Ash is expected to get a knife or sword as a Heirloom in Apex Legends

With Titanfall content being teased for 2023 and players discovering Titanfall map names in Apex Legends’ game files, it makes sense for Ash to be given priority to receive an Heirloom over other legends. She was one of the antagonists in Titanfall 2 and and is also an important story character in Apex Legends.

Respawn Entertainment and EA are also introducing Mythic Skins and Heirloom recolors with Wraith expected to be the first to receive an alternate version of the Kunai. The game added a bunch of new animations for the Wraith heirloom that already exists in the game and we are expected to receive a color variant for it very soon. The Wraith heirloom is also expected to make an appearance in Season 16.

With Mythic skins and Heirloom recolors being added to the game, we can expect multiple Collection events in a single season. Even if you own one of the existing Heirlooms that get a recolor in the future, you will be expected to shell out $160 USD to clear out the collection event.

But for players who don’t have the original versions of the older Heirlooms, the recolors can serve as a way to obtain them for much cheaper compared to the average number of Apex Packs you would need to open (500) to get 150 Heirloom Shards.

To summarize, Apex Legends' next Heirlooms this season are Wraith’s recolored Kunai and an Heirloom for Ash which is expected to be a knife or a sword. They are purely for cosmetic use only and serve no gameplay purpose so you should not force yourself to buy them unless you want to support the game or really like the upcoming cosmetics.
