Apex Legends’ Gun Game Mode Leaked by Twitch Rivals

Gun Game is a popular game mode that has been implemented by several games over the years and this mode is possibly coming to Apex Legends. An official post by Twitch Rivals revealed that Apex Legends is getting Gun Game and that Shadow Royale is also making a return. After fans spotted the information about Gun Game, the page was updated and there is no longer any mention of Gun Game on the page.

Gun Game is expected to arrive around 9th October

Apex Legends’ Gun Game mode is expected to arrive around 9th October. With the Apex Legends Twitch Rivals event set to take place during the second week of October, the mode should go live before the event. It is currently unknown if the mode will be available as a limited-time mode or if it will become a permanent part of the game.

If you are not sure what Gun Game is all about, here’s how the mode works in other games. Each player starts with a specific weapon and every time you get a kill, your weapon changes. There is a set rotation of weapons that you need to cycle through by getting kills and whoever gets a kill with all the weapons wins the game. The mode was first introduced as “Wager Match” in Call of Duty: Black Ops and since then, it has been implemented in several games.

Shadow Royale is also coming to Apex Legends as a returning game mode as part of the Halloween event. The mode has been part of Apex Legends in previous Halloween events as well. The biggest change from the standard battle royale modes is that as long as you have one surviving member on your team, dead allies can respawn as zombies. When in zombie form, you will not be able to equip weapons or armor. However, you get a boost to your melee damage and range, and you can also double jump and wall ride.

Apex Legends Shadow Royale is a chaotic version of the standard battle royale mode as players can have infinite revives and there are AI-controlled dog-like beasts called Prowlers that can assist you when you are the last surviving member. The event should arrive sometime around Halloween.
