Apex Legends is launching a new Collection Event on 19th July featuring anime-themed skins, a game called Armed and Dangerous game, and more. The limited-time mode ‘Armed and Dangerous’ is returning after several seasons, where players get access to only snipers and shotguns in the mode. The game mode will be available on Storm Point, World’s Edge, and Olympus. The Kraber and Mastiff will also be craftable during the weekends, which will make things even spicier as players run around with two of the most powerful red-tier weapons in the game.
Apex Legends Gaiden Flash Events
There will be two separate rewards trackers lasting one week each during the event. Players will be able to earn battle pass stars and cosmetics during the event for free. Here is a breakdown of the rewards:

Gaiden Collection Event
The new collection event is slightly different from other heirloom events. Instead of purchasing 24 cosmetics via Apex Packs that cost 700 Apex Coins each, players will need to collect 40 cosmetics but the packs cost 400 coins each, which makes this variant of the collection event slightly more affordable for players who want to get the associated heirloom.
If you collect all 40 event items, you’ll unlock the newest Prestige skin, Bangalore’s “Apex Commander”. Prestige Skins are Mythic cosmetic Legend skins that each have 3 tiers (3 versions total of the Prestige Skin). Upon unlocking tier 1 of a Prestige Skin, a player will be able to complete challenges to unlock Tier 2 and Tier 3 at no additional cost.
Players can continue to complete these challenges, once available, even after the end of the event. Once a Prestige Skin Tier’s challenge is completed a player will unlock that tier’s version of the skin which can then be equipped. Players have the ability to equip any unlocked tier of a Prestige Skin once owned.
Gaiden Event Packs are available for a limited time during the Gaiden Event, but the items will be available in the standard Apex Pack pool of items after the event ends.
Gaiden Event Packs guarantee you one non-duplicate Gaiden Event item.
The new event will introduce 40 new cosmetic items around the Gaiden theme.
Gaiden items can be crafted with crafting metals. After two seasons, crafting metal costs of Gaiden Items may be reduced.
