AMD Skyesports Championship 4.0: Location and Date Revealed
The highly anticipated LAN will house three grand final matches!
The date and location of the AMD Skyesports Championship 4.0 have finally been announced by the tournament organizers with the grand finals of the three different competitive titles set to take place on LAN in front of a live audience.
Pokemon Unite, CS:GO, and Dota 2 are the three titles that have been featured in this tournament and their respective grand final matches will be taking place at the Bombay Exhibition Center, NESCO in Goregaon, Mumbai on 24th December.
With its initial announcement last month, Skyesports surprised the Indian gaming community by announcing two esports titles that despite having considerable userbases in the country have never been too popular as competitive titles.
However, the organizers are committed to reviving the two titles in the country and seem to have done a great job with the qualifiers so far.

This tournament is going to mark the end of the current competitive season for Skyesports and it is ending on a high with multiple events set to take place on 24th December. Three champions will be crowned across Pokemon UNITE, CS:GO, and Dota 2, with international teams from Southeast Asia also attending the event.
Qualifiers for both CS:GO and Dota 2 were held across India and Southeast Asia (SEA). While teams from SEA were handed direct invites, Indian teams and players were granted an opportunity to register for the qualifiers.

The top two teams from each of these qualifiers have made it to the grand final and they will be competing in front of a live audience later this month in Mumbai, India.

As for Pokemon Unite, Skyesports is actually hosting a completely different tournament called Pokemon Unite India Open 2022, whose grand final will be taking place as part of the Skyesports Championship 4.0 in an offline setup.
Additionally, the top four teams from that tournament have also been granted an opportunity to receive a direct slot in the upcoming Pokemon Unite Asia Champions League.
While these grand final fixtures are sure to attract quite an audience, catering to both PC and Mobile gaming enthusiasts. Shiva "Marvel" Nandy - Founder and CEO of Skyesports, has further hinted towards a CS:GO Streamers Showdown.
It will be interesting to see which gaming personalities we will get to see competing in this surprise addition and how the overall tournament will play out on 24th December at the Bombay Exhibition Center, NESCO, Goregaon.
