AMD Ryzen Skyesports Championship 3.0 Valorant will kick off on 8th September with regional qualifiers in South Asia.
The event will feature teams from India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and Maldives.
A total prize pool of $30,000 USD will be available as part of the event for the playoffs and regional qualifiers.

Skyesports announced the AMD Ryzen Skyesports Championship 3.0, which will feature a prize pool of INR 5,500,000 ($73,800 USD), of which INR 2,200,000 ($30,000 USD) will be allocated to Valorant. Registrations are open to teams from India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and Maldives. Teams will have to qualify for the main event via regional qualifiers which will kick on 8th Sept 2021. The regional qualifiers will be played on each country’s nearest servers to ensure fair play and competitive integrity. The regional qualifiers will feature their own prize pools and there is also a prize for the MVP of the event.

The Valorant event will have regional qualifiers which will follow a single-elimination format with each match being a best-of-three games, except for the finals which will be a best-of-five.

Regional Qualifiers

Here are all the regional qualifiers which will be taking place from 8th September:

  • India Qualifier (Top two teams qualify for the playoffs)

  • Pakistan and Afghanistan Qualifier (Top two teams qualify for the playoffs)

  • Bangladesh and Maldives Qualifier (Top two teams qualify for the playoffs)

  • Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan Qualifier (Winner qualifies for the playoffs)

Wildcard Qualifier

In addition to the regional qualifiers, there will also be a Wildcard qualifier where the top teams from the regional qualifiers will be given a second chance to make it to the playoffs. The Wildcard Qualifier will feature a double-elimination bracket and will give the four teams another shot at making it to the playoffs. Only one team from the Wildcard qualifier will make it to the playoffs.

  • India Qualifier: Third-placed team

  • Pakistan and Afghanistan Qualifier: Third-placed team

  • Bangladesh and Maldives Qualifier: Third-placed team

  • Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bhutan Qualifier: Second-placed team

Playoffs

The eight best teams will go head-to-head against each other in a three-day event to win the tournament. The first two days will feature best-of-five matches and day three will see the champions of the event being crowned.

The regional qualifiers will offer a prize pool varying from $1,000 USD to $2,000 USD with the playoffs prize pool featuring $24,000 USD in cash prize for the winners and an additional $1,000 USD for the event MVP. A total prize pool of $30,000 USD will be available as part of the event.
