Hydra Esports Manager Left the Team, Citing Difficulty in Balancing Life and Work
Alpha Clasher revealed that he had spoken with Yash Raj and provided some insight into the reason behind the departure. According to Alpha Clasher, Yash Raj was inundated with messages from other esports companies and tournament organizers. "I talked with Yash Raj and asked him why he left. As you guys know, Yash Raj was the esports manager of Hydra, so he was connected to all esports companies and tournament organizers. All these used to message him, for example, Secret is playing great, and we need an assaulter in the lineup. So, he was like, Should I focus on my work or respond to these messages? I am not able to focus on my life.’ Then again, he said that people used to message him to improve the lineup, pay attention to Hydra's lineup, and much more," he said.
Alpha Clasher explained that Yash Raj wanted to focus on his work, but he couldn't due to the overwhelming number of messages he used to receive. And he ultimately decided to step away from the team.
Yash Raj announced his departure from Hydra through an Instagram story that simply read, "Left 🐉." Although the announcement implied that he had left Hydra, it was vague and did not provide context or explain why he had made the decision to do so. Alpha Clasher expressed his belief that the announcement should have been more detailed in order to avoid confusion and negative reactions from the community.
Following this, Alpha Clasher explained that Yash Raj is not well-versed in social media. "He does not have much knowledge about social media. He is a pure corporate guy, he knows how to handle people, not social media. I hope you guys understand," he said. He also suggested that if Yash Raj had consulted him before making the announcement, he would have been able to provide guidance on how to handle the situation in a more effective manner.
