PUBG LITE is officially shutting down its servers, two years after its release in August 2019. The announcement was made through the official blog post stating that the official PUBG LITE website is scheduled to shut down on March 30, 2021 (UTC) followed by the game servers on April 29, 2021 (UTC). This means that the game can no longer be downloaded as of today. However, players still have one last month to play the game before it’s gone. The reason behind the shutting down of PUBG Lite has not been stated. However, the blog clearly states that the decision was made after careful deliberation.

PUBG LITE is Officially Shutting Down
The announcement was posted on the official PUBG LITE website. The devs started by thanking their fans for the continued support and hoped that PUBG LITE was able to provide them with quality entertainment during the lockdowns.
“We are deeply grateful for the passion and support from the astounding number of PUBG LITE fans that have been with us. During the strenuous times of the pandemic, we hope that PUBG LITE was able to provide our fans a fun way to stay safe,” the devs stated in their blog post.
The devs added that after much deliberation, they have decided to shut down the game on April 29, 2021. The devs ended with a sincere apology for the fans and hope that the players will look forward to their future endeavors.
