Valorant VNG: Release Date, System Requirements and How to Play

Valorant’s Vietnamese servers were first teased back in May 2020, but all talks of the region receiving its own server died down over the past year. Riot Games revealed at the time that its game is launching for “most of the world” and for regions like Vietnam it “won’t be able to launch just yet”. The studio was aware that without Valorant’s Vietnamese servers, players in the SEA would face higher latencies and they promised to deliver a solution soon. After nearly a year of waiting, Riot Games is finally set to launch Valorant’s Vietnamese servers.

The Vietnamese version of the game, Valorant VNG is scheduled to release on April 6th, 2021.

Valorant’s Vietnamese Servers Overview

According to an official announcement by VNG, Valorant’s Vietnamese Servers will launch on April 6, 2021 and countries like Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand will have access to yet another low-latency server to play on. Valorant already has Singapore servers but the addition of Vietnamese servers will offer more options to players in Southeast Asia.

How to Install Valorant

If you want to play on Valorant’s Vietnamese servers and want to play the game when it’s available, here is what you need to do:

1. Head to the official Valorant website and click on the Play Now or Play Free button. 
2. Your web browser will now begin downloading the Installer package. 
3. Click on the downloaded file and choose your preferred download location. You require 8 GB of free space to install the game. 
4. You need to sign into a Riot Games account to login and start playing once your download completes.
5. Go to Riot Games’ official website.
6. Click on 'Create Account', and you will be redirected to the sign-up page. 
7. Enter your email address and click on the Start button to begin registration. 
8. Fill in the required details including date of birth, username, and password. 
9. Confirm your registration.
10. You will now be able to sign in to your Riot Games account and play Valorant.
