Red Bull Home Ground is set to commence this weekend, and we have some of the best teams in Europe making it to the event, which will feature a custom format. The Valorant competition takes place from Jan 28th to Jan 31st. FrenzyGoKill secured a spot at the event via the open qualifiers but what shocked everyone was Monkey Business’ roster being the final invited team. The Monkey Business roster is reported to be OG’s Valorant roster, which means we can expect the two-time International champions to make a move in Valorant.

Red Bull Home Ground will feature G2, Team Liquid, Guild Esports, SUMN FC, Futbolist, Ninjas in Pyjamas, FrenzyGoKill, and Monkey Business, who will be competing in the three-day event for a prize pool of £24,000 ($33,000). There will be some tweaks to the classic Valorant tournament format to shake things up, and Red Bull claims that early amp dominance will be crucial to success.
Red Bull Home Ground is being held parallel to Red Bull Campus Clutch, a global collegiate-level competition that will see teams from over 50 countries compete to represent their country globally. Riot Games has partnered with Red Bull to make the event possible, and the studio will offer the winners an opportunity to meet the best players in the world.
Is OG Set to Sign Monkey Business’ Valorant Roster?
Reports of DOTA 2 team OG signing the new Monkey Business Valorant roster came in earlier today from Arran “Halo” Spake, a reporter for Siege, Overwatch, and Valorant. OG’s original name was Monkey Business and Red Bull being an official partner of OG offers credence to the report. Red Bull invited Monkey Business to be a part of the event, and we can expect an official announcement from OG at the event if the reports are indeed true.
