  • OG may be looking at acquiring a Valorant roster as early as this month according to reports.
  • The current roster of Monkey Business will be signing up with OG according to Arran “Halo” Spake.
  • The roster consists of ex-Overwatch and CS:GO pros and former LA Valiant/Dallas Fuel coach Julian "Daemon" Ducros.

OG is one of the best DOTA 2 organizations with two back-to-back International wins under their belt and a potential third at the next event. According to multiple sources, the organization may be in talks with the Monkey Business Valorant roster to break into Valorant esports. The roster signed up for Red Bull Home Ground recently, which surprised everyone, and we may receive an official announcement from OG soon. Monkey Business is also the former name of OG, which adds even more credence to the report.

Who is OG Signing For Its Valorant Roster?

Arran “Halo” Spake reported the news and revealed the roster, which boasts of some of the best ex-Overwatch and ex-CS:GO professionals in the world. Spake is a reporter who covers European Valorantt, OWL, and R6 news. Here is the current Monkey Business roster who will be signing with OG:

  • Dylan "aKm" Bignet
  • Dragan" Ellement" Milanović
  • Theo "Oniby" Tarlier
  • Keven "Tviq" Lindström
  • Benjamin "Unkoe" Chevasson
  • Julian "Daemon" Ducros (Coach)

The roster will be a part of Home Ground, an event hosted by Red Bull, who also happens to be an official partner of OG. Dylan "aKm" Bignet and Benjamin "Unkoe" Chevasson were part of Overwatch League team Dallas Fuel while Unkow was part of LA Valiant. Florida Mayhem DPS player Kevin "Tviq" Lindström, who was part of Overwatch League 2018, will also be part of the event. They will be joined by ex-CS:GO pro Theo “Oniby” Tarlier. Julian "daemoN" Ducros, who coached the Los Angeles Valiant and Dallas Fuel, will be taking up coaching responsibilities.

OG has been a dominant force in DOTA 2, and their entry into Valorant means that the organization wants to expand its reach in the world of competitive gaming. Valorant is not the first FPS title that OG has invested in, with the organization signing a CS:GO team back in 2019.

The roster is up-and-coming, and they might prove to be one of the best in Europe. Valorant Champions Tour is around the corner, and it remains to be seen if OG officially enters the event this season, with the qualifiers kicking off soon for Europe. With Alliance and Team Vitality making it into Valorant, OG’s entry into Valorant esports should not come as a surprise to anyone.

With the Monkey Business roster heading into the Red Bull event on January 28th, we can expect an OG official word before the event concludes on January 31st.
