Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek is one of the top streamers on Twitch and it is likely that he will stick to his career path for a long time. He moved to Mixer temporarily but quickly became one of the biggest names on Twitch once again when he returned. But he does think about when he intends to quit streaming and why and decided to share his thoughts with his fans.

When Does Shroud Plan to Quit Streaming?

Shroud talked to his stream and posted a video on his video channel talking about how it is possible that he will give up streaming for good but only when the right circumstances are met. He plays a variety of games currently including Valorant, PUBG, Tarkov, and Cyberpunk 2077 for tens of thousands of viewers every day. On being asked how long he sees himself streaming games, he responded that it was a very “deep question”. He said that he plans to continue streaming until the day he enjoys playing video games. He says if he ever loses the enjoyment of playing video games he will stop. He has talked about how he does not want to venture into IRL streaming and wants to keep his content restricted to games only.

After he responded to fans, everyone started asking if he still enjoys playing games. He said “That’s very unlikely. I feel like I’m still a kid on Christmas when a new game comes out, you know? I think I’ll be doing this for another ten years minimum.” Shroud is currently 26 and he plans to keep streaming until he is 36 at the very least.

He added “The question is: how many people will still be watching me and be growing old with me as a streamer?” he pondered. “I’ve seen some familiar names over years of streaming. So, some people are still sticking around.” He was originally a pro CS: GO player, before he moved on to streaming. He has been active on Twitch for years and had joined Mixer for a short while.

Shroud is not the only big streamer who sees himself stream for a very long time. Summit1g is one of the oldest streamers on Twitch who is currently 33 years old and has been streaming since 2011. Beyond Twitch, we have Dr Disrespect who is 38 years old and has been streaming since 2011 as well.
