  • Valorant First Strike's first day of quarterfinals has come to a close in all regions.
  • TSM and Team Envy have moved to the semi finals from North America.
  • G2 and Team Heretics have moved on to the semis from Europe.

The first day of Valorant’s First Strike finals has come to a close with some fan-favourite teams being knocked out of the competition. Team Heretics and G2 Esports are through to the semi-finals for Europe while Envy and TSM will be facing off against each other in the NA semis later this week. Day 2 will decide the other teams who will be moving on to the next stage for all regions.

TSM to Face Off Against Team Envy in The Valorant First Strike NA Semis

In the very first match of the NA First Strike event, Team Envy took the victory against Immortals quite easily. Immortals put on a fight on Ascent in the next game but faltered once again, with Envy sealing their qualification with a handy 2-0 victory.

One of the highlights of the series was CP2 pulling out Skye, a character that was released just weeks ago in Valorant. TSM taking on a 7-0 lead in the first match was too much momentum for Renegades to handle. Drone put on an impressive performance with 33 kills and Subroza right behind him at 31 kills and a total of 26 assists between both players.

G2 Sweeps OrglessV To Seal A Spot in The Europe Semis

G2 Esports came in hot at the Valorant First Strike quarterfinals with six Ignition Series victories under their belt. They took on OrglessV and beat them in both maps they competed in. Unlike North America’s matches, the competition was a lot stiffer today. OrglessV put on a great fight against G2, with the scoreline at Split being 13-11 in favour of G2. Bind also spoke a similar story with a 13-10 victory for G2 on the map. Hoody had an impressive 40 kills, higher than anyone else on the leaderboard.

Team Liquid lost to Team Heretics 1:2 despite ScreaM’s heroic efforts. ScreaM had an impressive 89 kills, with the second-highest kills being held at 61 by loWel. He also had a higher K/D than anyone else playing in either team, but unfortunately, his performance wasn’t enough to pull Liquid through to the finals.

We have more matches coming up today to decide the other teams that will be heading to the Valorant First Strike semi-finals. The other quarterfinals are scheduled for December 4, 1 PM PST. The semis and finals are scheduled to take place on December 5 and 6, respectively.
