The final part of the NA VALORANT First Strike main event is now over, and we have the full list of teams who will be facing off in the grand finals in December. In the previous qualifiers, we saw Team Envy, Sentinels, Renegades, and 100 Thieves make it to the final event. This time around we have FaZe Clan, T1, Immortals, and TSM have made it to the final eight.
First Strike will be the first official Valorant tournament that will be hosted by Riot Games. With a prize pool of $100,000 for the NA circuit, it is set to become the biggest tournament the game has seen to date. The First Strike event will air from December 3 to December 6.
UMG X Valorant First Strike Overview
All eyes were on the UMG X Valorant First Strike Qualifiers with names like Cloud 9 Blue, Complexity, and T1 competing in the tournament, TSM pulled off a dominant performance today. The tournament saw two teams from each group quality and all but one quarterfinal match was lopsided. FaZe and Gen.G were the only teams that reached the other map. TSM, T1, and Immortals won their rounds 2-0 handily.
In the final matchup between TSM and Faze, TSM took an early lead with a 13-9 victory at Haven. FaZe managed to make a comeback in the next match with a 13-6 win against TSM. In the final match of the tournament, TSM managed to seal the win with a 133 win. TSM will be going head to head against Immortals in the main event, and FaZe will be facing off against T1.

TSM Valorant Roster
TSM’s team consists of ex-CS:GO professionals Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik and Matthew "WARDELL" Yu, Taoufik, Yu, James "hazed" Cobb, Taylor "drone" Johnson and Stephen "reltuC" Cutler. The team is coached by Taylor "Tailored" Broomall who has previous experience coaching teams like Envy, Splyce, and Boxr. Since their formation of the team, TSM has won the Faze Clan Invitational 2020, Immortals First Light, Lof x DTS Invitational Series, and other high-tier tournaments.
TSM became among the first organizations to enter competitive Valorant and also one of the first organizations to sign a full team of players in May 2020. They will be looking to prove themselves against the other 7 teams at the Valorant First Strike NA finals. In the European version of the tournament, the teams that are heading to the final eight include G2, Team Liquid, nolpenki, Prodigy, Purple Cobras, Team Heretics, Sumn FC, and FunPlus Phoenix.
