
- VALORANT Royal Cup is a $25,000 tournament for the SEA region.

Epulze has just announced that it has entered into a partnership with Riot Games and will be hosting a VALORANT tournament featuring $25,000 USD on the line. The VALORANT Royal Cup will take place for the SEA region and will see 16 teams competing for the lion’s share of the prize money.
This tournament is also a part of the VALORANT Ignition Series, which is a series of tournaments organized by third party companies in partnership with Riot Games to build a competitive ecosystem for the game.
12 Teams will receive direct invitations to this event. Four more teams will join them through the open qualifiers. Participating teams and broadcasting talents are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Speaking about the tournament, Chris Tran, Head of Esports, Riot Games SEA, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau said:

Details of The VALORANT Royal Cup
Prize Pool
The total prize pool for the VALORANT Royal Cup is $25,000 USD. The split between the 16 teams competing in this tournament is yet to be announced.
Schedule
The Group stages of the VALORANT Royal Cup will be played between the 21-24th of September and playoffs will be played between the 25-27th of September.
Format
Group Stages:
The Group stage will be played as a BO2 round-robin with 4 teams in 4 groups. All 4 teams will play each other once with the Top 2 teams from each group advancing to the playoffs
Playoffs:
The playoffs will be played in a Double Elimination bracket. All matches except for the Grand Finals (BO5) and the first two rounds in the Lower Bracket (BO1) will be BO3 matches.
