The founder of NODWIN Gaming, Akshat "LordNOD" Rathee announced today that DreamHack will be returning to India once again next year in 2020, and this time the event will be taking place in Hyderabad.
The announcement was made while LordNOD was interviewing popular PUBG Mobile streamer and pro player for Team SouL, Naman “M0rtal” Mathur. He went on to say that, following a great response from the community, the company aims to bring in more international tournaments to India.
Popular attractions such as the Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) event, KO Fight Nights, Mobile Gaming Events, the Retro Gaming Zone, CS:GO Invitational Tournament and more are expected to return as DreamHack is all set to make its way to the south of India for the first time ever.
The first edition of DreamHack India took place in Mumbai in 2018 followed by an event in Delhi in December 2019. Both editions are the only DreamHacks to have ever taken place in the Asian region so far.
