Who Is Vantage in Apex Legends?

A massive leak surfaced earlier this year that showcased an entire lineup of leaked legends who are due to be added to the game. While fans were not sure of the legitimacy of the leaks when they first came out, a large number of these leaks have turned out to be true. From Newcastle’s kit to Valkyrie’s heirloom, the leaks seem to be reliable unless Respawn Entertainment makes developmental changes to the leaked content.

Among the leaked legends was Vantage, who is expected to arrive in a future update. She is supposed to be an offensive recon support who can spawn a sniper rifle with her ultimate, similar to Chamber from Valorant. Here is everything we know about Vantage in Apex Legends.

Vantage in Apex Legends: Overview, Abilities, Release Date

Vantage is expected to be the game’s next legend who will show up in Season 14. Vantage could be a codename that is being used during the legend’s development and she may release under a different name. She was first leaked back in March 2022 and her kit resembles that of Seer with her passive allowing her to gain information by aiming down sights.

Unlike Seer, her passive works only when you are unarmed or using a sniper rifle. In exchange for the more situational passive compared to Seer, you get access to more information like enemy health, how many teammates they have, and more.

• Passive: Sniper Kit: Tactical info available in ADS (Aim Down Sight) unarmed or any long-range scopes.

• Tactical: Echo Launch: Launch towards your winged companion - Echo. Order Echo by tapping Q. Launch to Echo by holding Q.

• Ultimate: Mark to Kill: A custom rifle that scans enemies and boosts damage for Vantage and her squad. Damage doubles for Vantage on successive shots. Teammates get 15% bonus damage on marked targets.

Respawn Entertainment is yet to confirm the release of the upcoming legend and if the leaks are true, we can expect to see more information coming in the form of teasers during Season 13. Respawn likes to include in-game teasers weeks in advance and we can expect to see an official reveal trailer before the end of the current season.
