Valorant Episode 5 Act 1 should release on 6th or 7th July with a brand new map and other content.

Valorant Episode 5 Act 1 is the game’s next big update and we are less than eight weeks away from getting yet another content drop. Episode 4 is coming to a close with Fade releasing with a brand new battle pass, the RGX 11z Pro skins and more. It has been months since a new map was released in Valorant and Riot Games may finally introduce the game’s next map, after Fracture, once Episode 5 drops.

When is Valorant Episode 5 Act 1 releasing?

While Riot Games has not revealed when exactly Episode 5 Act 1 drops, we can figure it out from the battle pass end date for Episode 4 Act 3. The current battle pass is expected to end on 6th July. Valorant Episode 5 Act 1 should release on 6th or 7th July with a brand new map and other content.

What to expect from Valorant Episode 5 Act 1?

We don’t know what new content will be added in Episode 5 Act 1. However, once Episode 4 comes to an end, we will have crossed over six months without a new map release. Riot Games typically releases at least one map every Episode and we can expect one with the next big content update. But Riot Games has not confirmed anything just yet and we will have to wait until we get an official word from the developers.

A fix for server instability might also arrive with Valorant Episode 5 Act 1. Riot revealed earlier this month that reports had come in of players complaining about “inconsistency.” A lot of players have talked about how hit registration is great in one match and it is a completely different experience in a different match. Riot has narrowed down the causes behind the problem to network buffering and network jitter and it might be addressed in the next major update.

With Valorant Episode 5 Act 1 set to release around 6th July, players will also have a new battle pass, cosmetic bundles and events to look forward to.
