Highlights
Warzone 2 Season 2 will arrive on 15th February with new weapons, the Ronin operator, and possibly a new Resurgence map.
Resurgence is also set to return in Season 2 but it is unknown if it will be available on the launch day.
Players can expect an official announcement of the new seasonal content by Activision later this month.

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1 is just four weeks away from its conclusion and we will get a major content update along with the arrival of Season 2 next month. The mid-season update ‘Season 1 Reloaded’ introduced the Chimera Assault Rifle, buffs and nerfs, and quality of life improvements, but it did not have a new or reprised map. Fans have been waiting for the Resurgence game mode and Activision has finally confirmed that it is returning in Season 2.

Warzone 2 Season 2: Everything we know so far

Season 1 has been delayed by two weeks and instead of the new season arriving on 1st February, it has been delayed to 15th February instead. The Resurgence map was leaked in December 2022 and we will be getting a brand new map exclusive to Warzone 2 instead of a reprised map from the previous iteration of Warzone. The map has been leaked several times over the past few months. Activision has confirmed the return of the game mode in Season 2 but we don't know if it will be available on the launch date.

Other content expected with the arrival of Season 2 include the Ronin operator, new weapons, new battle pass, bug fixes, a Resurgence map and potentially the introduction of Building 21 in Warzone.

Activision has not revealed any plans to restore the old maps in Warzone 2.0 and Resurgence is expected to come with a brand-new map exclusive to Warzone 2.0. If you loved Resurgence for weapon XP farming, we recommend playing DMZ and try your best to not lose the weapon you are trying to level up if you want to extract with the most XP possible.

Ranked Play is also coming on 15th February, which will allow players to compete against players of similar skill and climb up the ranked ladder for bragging rights and rewards.
