Valorant’s voice actors (VA) give life to the diverse cast of agents that are introduced to the game with each major Act. Some of the most talented individuals from the gaming and entertainment industry have lent their voices to Valorant’s agents and if you are interested in finding out more about the people behind some of your favorite characters in Valorant, here’s some fun trivia for each of the VA's.
Brimstone - Steve Blum
Steve Blum holds the Guinness world record for most video game voice acting credits. He has pulled off hundreds of voice acting gigs for some of the most loved video game franchises of all time including Call of Duty, Dota, Halo, and Elder Scrolls.
Viper - Ashly Burch
Burch is one of the most recognizable voice actors from the US. She has voiced Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn and Chloe Price from Life is Strange. She has also worked on titles like Borderlands and Saints Row, and will be returning as Aloy in Horizon Forbidden West later this year.
Omen – Jason Marnocha
Who would have thought that the mysterious agent’s voice actor is one of the most revered anime VA's in the world? Marnocha has worked on some of the most popular anime titles like Hunter x Hunter, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, One Punch Man, and more. When it comes to gaming, he has worked on multiple characters in Smite as well as Dark Prince Renathal in World of Warcraft.
Astra – Effie Nkrumah
Nkrumah is a Ghanaian-Australian artist whose foundations lie in comedy, dance and poetry. She tries to address constructs of race within human society through her works. When Nkrumah took up the role of Astra, she voiced the character in its entirety from her home in Ghana due to travel restrictions.
Phoenix - Afolabi Alli
The fiery agent from the United Kingdom is one of the coolest characters in the game and Alli does the fantastic job of bringing life to the character. The VA has a background in theater at the Royal Shakespeare Company and has been a part of plays like Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth and The Merry Wives of Windsor.
Jett – Shannon Arrum Williams
Williams is a former KPOP star who transitioned to content creation and streaming. She is known as Shannon in Korea and appeared on a South Korean TV show. Williams has also released her own music over the years and is an avid gamer.
Reyna - Karina Altamirano
Altamirano has a background in anime and she does voicework in Spanish. She has been a part of shows like One Piece and Dragon Ball. The VA has not only worked on Reyna’s English voice but also also for Valorant’s Latin America release in Spanish.
Raze - Carolina Ravassa
Ravassa is famously known for playing Sombra in Overwatch. She is from Colombia and has a background in acting. When it comes to voice work she has worked on titles like Grand Theft Auto V, Marvel’s Avengers, and Cyberpunk 2077.
Yoru - Daisuke Takahashi
Takahashi is a Japanese native who has worked on characters from Final Fantasy XV: Comrades, Resident Evil 2 and more. He also has a background in anime with roles in Devilman: Crybaby and Kuruko’s Basketball.
Sova – Aaron Vodovoz
Vodovoz made his debut in voicework with Valorant but the UK-based Russian-origin actor has worked on multiple films and shows over the past ten years. Vodovoz is set to work on Tetris, a biographical movie focused on the game industry.
Breach - David Menkin
Menkin is a Norwegin voice actor who has spent years working on popular children’s TV shows like Thomas and Friends and Bob the Builder. He also has an illustrious background in video games with roles in Horizon Zero Dawn, World of Warcraft, and Battlefield: Bad Company.
Skye - Miranda O’Hare
O’Hare has appeared in TV shows and short films throughout the 2010's. She began working as an actress when she was 12. Skye is her second video game role ever and her previous gig was in XCOM: Chimera Squad where she played the role of Hybrid Zephyr.
KAY/O - Gabe Kunda
Like many other Valorant VA's, Kunda too has a background in anime. He has worked on titles like Fairy Tail, One Piece, Attack on Titan and My Hero Academia. His previous video game works include Legend of Heroes IV, Far Cry V, and Orcs must Die 3.
Killjoy - Eva Feiler
Feiler is an accomplished actor who has worked on series like The Crown, The Archers and Father Brown. She also has a background in theater with roles in The Merchant of Venice and Othello in the UK.
Cypher - Nabil Elouahabi
The Moroccan agent is voiced by British-Moroccan actor Nabil Elouahabi. He was part of the iconic British soap opera EastEnders where he played the role of Tariq Larousi. Elouahabi is mostly involved with TV and film roles. In the world of video games, he previously voiced multiple characters in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Sage - Naomi Yang
Yangh is a Chinese-origin actor who made her debut in acting with 2014’s Lilting. Yang has worked on multiple TV series since then, including Brave New World and Mars. She used the name Naomi Christie before changing her name to Naomi Yang, to represent her Chinese roots.
Chamber - Hugo Pierre Martin
Martin is a native French speaker who has appeared in popular TV shows like I am The Night and Westworld. He has also worked on numerous AAA titles including Ghost of Tsushima, Days Gone and The Last of Us: Part II.
