What is the MS2000 Marker?
The MS2000 marker plays a crucial role in nighttime operations. Emitting signals in the infrared (IR) region, these signals are visible through Night Vision Goggles (NVGs). The marker has a special filter specifically designed for IR mode. Removing this filter results in a bright flash visible in the standard visible spectrum. In its extended mode, the marker operates with a distinctive blue flash.
Tip - To prevent the risk of losing the MS2000 Marker upon death, it is advisable for players to keep it in their slots or pouch. The marker will be automatically utilized from the player's inventory when required, functioning in a manner similar to the automatic use of keys.
