Overwatch 2 Season 6 Hero Mastery Event: Challenges, Rewards, Duration, More

After plenty of delays, Overwatch 2 has finally dropped the highly awaited game mode called Hero Mastery, allowing players to put their skills to the test and even compete against each other on the leaderboard for the ultimate bragging rights.

Already the best players in the world have set their respective high scores for all three Heroes whose courses are currently available, Reinhardt, Tracer, and Mercy.

However, the job is only half done because there are a ton of challenges that players can complete as part of the limited-time Hero Mastery Event to earn some exclusive rewards, and here is everything you need to know about it.

Overwatch 2 Season 6 Hero Mastery Event: Complete Details

Hero Mastery is the latest game mode introduced to Overwatch 2 and it has gripped the attention of the entire community, with players trying their best to secure a position on the leaderboards.

To make things more interesting, Overwatch 2 has launched the Hero Mastery Event which offers players an opportunity to grab a few rewards by completing certain challenges, while attempting the various Hero courses.

• Hero Mastery Event Start Date: 5^th September

• Hero Mastery Event End Date: 26^th September

• Hero Mastery Event Duration: 22 Days

• Hero Mastery Event Challenges: 28 Challenges

• Hero Mastery Event Rewards: Weapon Charm, Souvenir, Spray, Player Icon, Name Card

Currently, there are three Heroes available to try out in Hero Mastery with two more scheduled to be released in the coming weeks.

Underworld Event: Challenges and Reward

There are a total of 28 challenges but only 9 of them guarantee a cosmetic item as a reward, others offering battle pass experience which is also important to complete the prized Overwatch 2 Season 6 Battle Pass.

Common Challenges

1. The Skills | 10,000 XP | Souvenir: Training Bot

   • Complete any 5 challenges from the Hero Mastery Event.

2. All The Skills | 20,000 XP | Weapon Charm: Training Bot

   • Complete any 8 challenges from the Hero Mastery Event.

3. Chasing Stars | 2500 XP

   • Complete Recruit Hero Mastery Courses (4 Stars) with 3 different Heroes.

   • Reinhardt, Winston, Sojourn, Tracer, and Mercy.

4. Chasing More Stars | 2500 XP

   • Complete Agent Hero Mastery Courses (4 Stars) with 3 different Heroes.

   • Reinhardt, Winston, Sojourn, Tracer, and Mercy.

5. Chasing All Stars | 2500 XP | Spray: Training Bot

   • Complete Veteran Hero Mastery Courses (4 Stars) with 3 different Heroes.

   • Reinhardt, Winston, Sojourn, Tracer, and Mercy.

6. A Star Is Born | 1000 XP

   • Earn 3 Star in any Hero Mastery Course.

7. Wish upon A Star | 1000 XP

   • Earn 4 Star in any Hero Mastery Course.

8. Reach For The Stars | 1000 XP

   • Earn 5 Star in any Hero Mastery Course.

9. Speed Run | 1000 XP

   • Complete any Hero Mastery Course with 3x finish bonus.

10. Hero Master | 1000 XP

    • Earn 3 Star and Collect all Emblems on any Hero Mastery Course.

11. Field Experience I | 2500 XP

    • Complete 6 games with wins granting double progress.

12. Field Experience II | 2500 XP

    • Complete 18 games with wins granting double progress.

1. Reinhardt Mastery I | 1000 XP

   • Earn 3 Star in each Reinhardt Hero Mastery Course.

   • Recruit, Agent, and Veteran Hero Mastery Courses.

   • Earn 3 Star and Collect all Emblems in each Reinhardt Hero Mastery Course.

Most of the challenges for the Hero Mastery Event are pretty straightforward, requiring players to accomplish tasks that are literally part of the game mode and not requiring them to do something extra
