Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has completely transformed how Perks are used by introducing a Gear-based Perk system.
If you're wondering how the new Perk system works in MW3, here's everything you need to know.

The Call of Duty franchise is no stranger to innovations, and with the launch of Modern Warfare 3 (MW3), Perks have undergone drastic changes. Perks in MW3 can bolster your performance even further when loading into multiple game modes available in multiplayer. From faster aim-down sight speeds to increased exposed resistance, there are multiple benefits to utilize.

In this article, we'll take a look at the Modern Warfare 3's Perk system and reveal everything you need to know about it.

Modern Warfare 3: How do Perks Work?

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Perks are available through Gear. Each piece of Gear provides different functionality and attributes to the player's experience.

Each piece of Gear in the game is connected to a specific Perk. You can only include a limited amount of four Gear Pieces in a Loadout. Each Gear is categorized into tiers to make sure the system is balanced. You won't get immediate access to Perks if you're starting the game. Players need to unlock MW3 Perks by progressing through the game and completing multiple challenges.

Modern Warfare 3: What Perks Are Available?

Modern Warfare 3's Gear-based Perk system includes Vests, Gear, Gloves, and Boots. Equipping any of these gear categories will help players from the number bonuses they come with. Depending on a player’s playstyle, each bonus will offer different upgrades, which will help players in battles.

Here's a complete list of all Perks available in Modern Warfare 3 –
