What to expect from Modern Warfare 2 Season 5
While Activision has not made an official announcement so far, according to the Task Force Leakers Network, there are multiple new skins coming to the game which include:
Nicki Minaj
21 Savage
Ivan
Nolan
Oz
Nicki Minaj and 21 Savage will get in-game bundles that players can purchase for 2,400 COD Points each according to the leakers. In addition to the new bundles, we will also get Tier Skip Bundles if you want to bypass tiers in the battle pass.
Currently, the only way to skip tiers is by purchasing the upgraded battle pass for $29.99 USD which allows you to get 20 Tiers of rewards instantly. With the new Tier Skin items, you could potentially complete the battle pass as soon as the event drops.
Weapons coming to the game include:
2011
APC-9
WA-2000
Malyuk
Leaks also suggest that we will get a special event in DMZ during Season 5, which will lead up to an official reveal of Modern Warfare 3. Instead of getting a full-fledged Call of Duty game this year, Modern Warfare 3 is expected to be a mega-expansion that releases in November. It will reportedly merge with Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0.
