Is Taylor Swift Coming to Fortnite?

Short Answer: No! However, that doesn’t mean there’s no chance of Taylor Swift ever appearing in the game. 

Recently, Disney acquired a $1.5 Billion USD stake in Epic Games, the mind behind Fortnite. Both entertainment giants stated in a joint declaration that they aim to create an expansive entertainment universe. This strategic alliance opens an insane number of opportunities for crossovers, including Toy Story, Frozen, Mickey Mouse, and more! However, there’s a chance that the collaboration might also pave the way for new partnerships and stars who’ve worked with Disney.

Bob Iger, CEO of Disney, recently stated that he wants to bring Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour Concert Movie'' to Disney’s streaming platform. Disney’s collaboration with Epic Games could boost the film’s reach by promoting it within Fortnite, with a live concert and a Taylor Swift skin.

That’s not all; the Taylor Swift x Fortnite rumors are also fueled by the upcoming release of the artist’s highly anticipated album “The Tortured Poets Department,” which is all set to release on 19th April 2024. One of the tracks which have caught everyone’s attention is ‘Fortnight.’ 

Whether it’s just a coincidence or a hint of a collaboration with Fortnite is not known. While we still don’t have an official confirmation from Taylor Swift or Fortnite, the stars seem to be aligning for an event.

Will Taylor Swift Feature in Fortnite Festival Season 2?

According to reputable Fortnite insider @ShinnaBR on X, Fortnite Festival Season 2 is all set to begin on 22nd February 2024. Although Epic Games hasn’t officially confirmed the launch date, assuming it’s accurate, it suggests that the developers will soon reveal what’s next for the Fortnite Festival. Last season, we saw The Weeknd performing, but it’s still unknown who is going to be featured in Season 2. In response to this leak, many players believe that Taylor Swift might be the next featured artist for Fortnite Festival Season 2.

However, it’s unlikely that we’ll see Taylor Swift in the upcoming Fortnite Festival season. If Epic Games and Taylor Swift eventually collaborate, both parties would share the news via teasers on their social media accounts. Most artists tend to send out cryptic tweets before their Fortnite concerts. During this time, data miners dig up in-game files that confirm the collaboration before the official release.
