Modern Warfare 3 is coming to Steam as well as Battle.net for PC players.
The game will be available on 10th November but pre-ordering can give you early access.

Activision has officially announced the upcoming release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and if you are wondering if it will come to Steam, the answer is yes. The game is set to arrive later this year and if your hands are itching to get the title, then here’s what we know so far about Modern Warfare 3’s pre-order availability on Steam. For PC players you have the option of getting the game from both Activision Blizzard’s own Battle.net launcher or on Steam, and the prices are the same in most regions. However, if you are someone who prefers having just one launcher for your games, Steam might be the better option between the two.

How to pre-order Modern Warfare 3 on Steam

The game is to be priced at $69.99 USD for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Vault Edition. Here are some important dates that you need to be aware of.

  • Beta weekend 1 (PlayStation only) – 6th to 10th October

  • Beta weekend 2 (All platforms) – 12th to 16th October

  • Campaign Early Access (All platforms) – 2nd November

  • Full Release (All platforms) – 10th November

  • Season 1 Launch / New Warzone Map – 5th December

What to expect from Modern Warfare 3

You should expect Modern Warfare 3 content to be integrated into Call of Duty: Warzone at the start of Modern Warfare 3 Season 01, including all the Modern Warfare 2 content we specified, where applicable. Content is additive, so none of the previously described MW2 Carry Forward content acquired in Call of Duty: Warzone will be taken away.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will also include shared progression across Modern Warfare 2, the current iteration of Call of Duty: Warzone, and Modern Warfare 3 as one of its key features. Activision intends to make all Operators, Weapons, Blueprints, and cosmetic equipment accessible, as well as integrating Player Level, Battle Pass access, and Weapon progression among these games. The developers will have more details to share on this as we near the worldwide launch of Warzone Mobile.
