The Icy Feet challenge in Fortnite requires you to slide continuously with icy feet for a specified distance.
The challenge is currently bugged for a lot of players and we need to wait for a hotfix by Epic Games.

Fortnite's Winterfest event features a challenge where players must slide continuously with icy feet. To complete the challenge easily, you must obtain the Icy Grappler, from the vault. The item has unlimited uses so getting just one is enough to complete the challenge. This item not only gives you icy feet upon landing but is also superior in terms of control compared to alternatives like Snowmen or Snowy Floppers.

How to Slide With Icy Feet in Fortnite

To successfully complete this quest, first, obtain an Icy Grappler. Launch yourself into the air with it and initiate a slide upon landing by pressing the crouch button. This is an important detail as merely sliding on icy feet without actively crouching doesn't fulfill the quest's criteria.

With the icy feet effect, your slide will extend beyond its usual length. For this quest, you must achieve at least a 50-meter slide. To simplify this, locate a flat area, place a marker 50 meters away, and use this as your sliding target. Run towards this marker and slide by pressing the crouch button. Your icy feet will help you reach the marker, thereby completing the quest.

In case the quest doesn't seem to work, ensure that your slide is initiated by actively pressing the crouch button, as simply sliding on icy feet won't count. Remember, the entire 50 meters must be covered in a single slide, hence the utility of the marker technique.

Is The Icy Feet Challenge Bugged in Fortnite?

If you're performing the slide correctly and still facing issues, it's possible that you're encountering a bug that several players have reported. Unfortunately, in such cases, the solution is to wait for Epic Games to release a fix.

Meanwhile, Fortnite's Winterfest offers plenty of other activities and rewards, including daily Winterfest presents featuring skins and other cosmetic items. So, while waiting for the bug fix, you can still enjoy everything else that the Fortnite Winterfest event has to offer.
