Gifting is a new feature that allows Apex Legends players to send each other cosmetics and other items.
Login verification is mandatory for sending gifts to other players.
You should never receive items from friends you do not trust as credit card fraud is commonplace in live service games.

With the launch of Apex Legends Season 15, the game introduced a new gifting feature that allows you to send cosmetics and other items to your friends. There are some requirements that you need to fulfill before you can send anything which includes a minimum level requirement, login verification, and more. If you want to send cosmetics and other items to your friends, here is everything you need to know about the gifting feature in Apex Legends.

Who can send or receive gifts in Apex Legends?

If you want to send gifts in Apex Legends, you need to:

  • Have Login Verification turned on

  • Be a Level 10 or higher in Apex Legends,

  • Have enough Apex Coins on your account for the gift,

  • Add the person as a friend in-game,

  • Be friends with them for at least two weeks,

  • Have sent no more than five gifts in the past 24 hours,

  • Have an account in good standing.

If you want to receive items,

  • add the person as a friend in-game,

  • be friends with them for at least two weeks,

  • have an account in good standing.

If you do not have login verification turned on, go to your Electronic Arts (EA) Account Security settings. Under Login Verification, click Turn On and save your settings.

You can gift either single items or bundles of Legend and weapon skins, charms, and more and you cannot directly gift Apex Coins either. At this time you also can’t gift Thematic Packs Collection Event Items either as a single gift or bundle at this time, but players will be able to gift them in the future which means that you can gift or receive heirlooms.

Gifts can be bought only with Apex Coins and you cannot send items from your inventory. Gifts are final and non-refundable. Make sure you’re gifting to the right account on the right platform. Before sending your friend a gift, check that their account isn’t banned.

Players should never receive items from third-party sites. Credit card frauds in games are very common and you are very likely to be banned if you purchase items via third-party sites where you are promised items via the gifting feature at low prices. If a chargeback is made against items that you receive, your items will be revoked and you should reach out to EA”s support channels for assistance.
