Epic Games recently revamped its refund system for Fortnite and if you have any unauthorized purchases in the game or simply do not want certain items that you paid for, you can safely return them with no questions asked. There are limitations on what can and cannot be refunded but you should be able to refund most recent purchases automatically. Here is a quick guide on how to refund items in Fortnite.
What items can or cannot be refunded in Fortnite?
Any Item Shop purchase made with V-Bucks, with the exception of the Level Up Quest Pack and any Gifts sent to friends can be refunded in Fortnite. You have 30 days from the date of purchase to refund an item in Fortnite.
Here are the items that CANNOT be refunded in Fortnite:
Level Up Quest Packs
Gifts
Real-money Purchases
Battle Pass
Battle Pass Tiers
Loot Llamas (Save the World)
Event and Weekly Items (Save the World)
Fortnite Crew Subscriptions
How to request a refund in Fortnite
Open Fortnite.
From the lobby, click on the main menu on the top left and go to Settings
Click on Menu > Support and Refunds
Click on Return or Cancel Purchase
Find and select the item you want to return and select it on the list. Click Use Return Ticket.
A final confirmation screen will pop up. Please make sure to check the items you are returning.
If you are sure that you want to proceed, click Yes.
You will then see the Success screen, which will tell you how many V-Bucks have been credited to your account.
Your purchase will be removed and the V-Bucks will be credited to your account. You only have a maximum of 3 Return Tickets available for use on your account. You will receive an additional return ticket every 365 days, as long as you have less than 3 tickets.
