Highlights
Players need to get a Mortar Strike killstreak to complete the Death From Above mission in Warzone 2.0 DMZ.
Players will need to visit a Buy Station with at least $12,000 cash to buy a Mortar Strike and you need a total of eight kills with them to complete the mission.

In Warzone 2.0 DMZ, the popular killstreak Mortar Strikes can be acquired differently compared to other Call of Duty games. Instead of obtaining them through ground loot or a specific killstreak, players must spend time on Ashika Island to acquire them. The White Lotus mission requires players to secure eight kills using the Mortar Strike, which poses a challenge due to its static location and the constant movement of DMZ enemies. Additionally, the Death From Above mission can get bugged sometimes, making it even more difficult.

To find Mortar Strikes, players need to visit a Buy Station with at least $12,000 cash. Each Mortar Strike costs this amount, so players must repeatedly purchase them until they achieve a total of eight kills. While players can target either real players or AI soldiers, the latter is recommended, as they can often be found in groups on the map.

Ashika Island is the optimal map for completing this mission due to its smaller size, allowing players to gather cash more quickly and locate more enemies in a shorter time. Once in possession of a Mortar Strike, players should identify a densely populated location with numerous AI soldiers and call the Mortar Strike in on top of them. With luck, this tactic will yield a significant number of kills. Typically, at least two Mortar Strikes are necessary to achieve the required eight kills, as a single strike may struggle to eliminate that many enemies.

An alternative approach involves waiting for a chopper carrying AI soldiers and then calling in the Mortar Strike on its intended landing spot. This tactic can instantly eliminate four to five soldiers as the chopper explodes.

By following these strategies and making the most of Ashika Island's advantages, players can successfully complete the White Lotus mission and master the Mortar Strikes in DMZ. Though challenging, the rewards are well worth the effort, providing players with a powerful tool to dominate their foes on the battlefield.
