How to Fix the Clark Monterey Error in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 has unique error codes that are related to specific issues that you may be facing. One of the most notorious error codes that have popped up in Season 3 is ‘Clark Monterey’. 1. Head to your Xbox settings menu

2. Open the Account settings and click on Privacy and Online Safety

3. Click on Xbox Live Privacy

4. Click on View Details > Customise

5. Click on Communications and Multiplayer

6. Toggle the "You can play with people outside of Xbox Live" option to disable crossplay.

How to turn off cross-play on PlayStation

If you are a PlayStation user simply press the Options/Start button on your controller and open the Settings menu of Modern Warfare 2. You will see an option to toggle cross-play in the Account and Network section, which will allow you to turn the feature on or off whenever you want. You should also make sure you are on the latest version of the game as a hotfix for the issue is expected to drop very soon.
