There's no doubt that Fortnite has been undergoing one of its best periods in recent memory, as with Chapter 5 Season 1 out, players have a ton of content to dive into.
Epic Games is ready to take things to the next level with the release of Fortnite Festival, a new game mode that brings players one step closer to the biggest names in the music industry. If you're a fan of Kendrick Lamar, it's time to get ready, as he is all set to feature in Fortnite Festival!
That's not all; Epic Games has revealed other artists such as The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, The Killers, and more to feature in the brand-new game mode.
So, are you wondering when you'll be able to see Kendrick Lamar in Fortnite? We've got you covered! Here's what you need to know about Fortnite Festival.
Fortnite Festival: When Does it Release?
The new Fortnite season has already proven to be memorable, with new maps, mythic weapons, concerts, and weapons.
One of three new game modes coming to the game is Festival Mode, a rhythm-based game that fans are excited to relive the good old days of Rock Band and Guitar Hero.
Fortnite Festival featuring Kendrick Lamar is all set to go live on 9th December 2023, with the Weeknd being the spotlight for the opening release weekend of the new game mode.
Fortnite Festival: Game Mode Explained
Fortnite Festival mode works in a similar way to Rock Band or Guitar Hero, where players will play solo or in a band with different roles. Harmonix, the mind behind Rock Band, helped develop this game mode, and players got a glimpse of what's to come during the Eminem concert in Fortnite last week.
We'll see big artists such as Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, and Billie Eilish featuring in the event, and players will be able to jam alongside their most popular songs in the new game mode! Kendrick Lamar, like other artists, will also get his own Festival Pass, which will allow players the chance to unlock special rewards, with the help of Festival points, by completing special Festival Quests. These rewards include items such as Instruments, brand-new Auras, and festival-exclusive cosmetics.
