Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5, also known as Fortnite OG which launched on 3rd November.
The new season is going back to its roots by bringing back the old school Fortnite experience.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5, also known as Fortnite OG, is the fifth season of Fortnite Battle Royale in Chapter 4, which launched on 3rd November and will be available until 2nd December 2023. It is a throwback season that brought back the original Island, weapons, and items from Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5 so if you miss the good old days, you should check out the new content.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 Details

Battle Royale

  • New mode: OG Fortnite

  • This mode features the original Island, weapons, and items from Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5.

  • Players will earn experience points for completing challenges and quests in OG Fortnite mode.

  • Experience points can be used to level up and unlock rewards.

OG Zero Build

  • New mode: OG Zero Build

  • This mode features the original Island and loot pool from Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5, but without the ability to build.

  • Players will earn experience points for completing challenges and quests in OG Zero Build mode.

  • Experience points can be used to level up and unlock rewards.

Save the World

  • New questline: OG Fortnite

  • This questline takes place in the original Fortnite world and features characters from Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5.

  • Players will earn rewards for completing quests in the OG Fortnite questline.

Creative

  • New theme: OG Fortnite

  • New prefabs, props, and devices

  • New templates

Competitive

New format: OG Fortnite Arena

This format features the original Island, loot pool, and scoring system from Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5. Players will compete in Arena matches to earn points and climb the leaderboard. The top players will qualify for the OG Fortnite Championship Series.

The launch of the new season hasn’t exactly been smooth with players reporting lag, stutter and matchmaking issues on some platforms. Epic Games is working to address these issues as soon as possible.
