Step-by-Step Guide to Complete Cerberus Snapshot Quest
1. Use a Scrying Pool to speak with Cerberus
Find a Scrying Pool to talk to Cerberus. You can find one at any of the four pools on the Fortnite Island.
2. Eliminate anything to see if they took the Artifact
Kill 20 living creatures in Fortnite. This includes NPCs, bosses, henchmen, and animals like chickens and frogs.
3. Did I leave it at the Windmill with the view of the Styx? (Dig up the Artifact by The Other Windmill)
Next, you will need to search for the Artifact yourself, at The Other Windmill. It is an unnamed landmark northeast of the Grim Gate POI. For clarity, this location lies between Grim Gate and Lavish Lair.
4. Maybe on a grassy island in the center of everything (Dig up the Artifact on the island)
If you could not find the Artifact at the windmill, try looking for it on a small island in the middle of a lake at the center, near the Earth Shrine.
5. I left it near the snow, where people bury yummy bones too. (Dig up the Artifact by the cemetery.)
The next clue hints that another Artifact is buried in a Cemetery near the snow. It is the only Cemetery landmark, found north of the Reckless Railways POI. Head there and dig up the third artifact to move forward.
Optional Stage - Defeat Ares and Zeus! They Took the Artifact!
This stage is optional but may activate. Here, you will need to defeat both Ares and Zeus because Cerberus thinks they have the Artifact.
6. Use a Scrying Pool to speak with Hades
Like before, find a Scrying Pool to talk to Hades. Simply press the interact button near the Scrying Pool to start the conversation.
7. Defeat Cerberus to gain his tracking abilities
Next, defeat Cerberus himself to gain his tracking abilities and locate the Artifact effortlessly. Here's where you can find Cerberus.
8. Follow the scent of and collect the Artifact
Now that you have Cerberus's power, go to Pleasant Piazza. It's a marked location and one of the biggest POIs on the Fortnite map, so you should not have trouble finding it.
9. Return the Artifact to Cerberus' Dog House
After getting the tennis ball Artifact, return to Cerberus's house, where you found him in Stage 6, and hand it over.
10. Use a Scrying Pool to speak with the Oracle
Finally, talk to The Oracle through a Scrying Pool to finish the questline.
And voila! You have successfully completed the Cerberus Snapshot quest in Fortnite. With this guide, you can easily navigate through the Fortnite landscape and uncover the lore, while claiming exciting rewards.
