Game Sharing Limitations You Need to Know About
Even though you can share Modern Warfare 3 with a friend, there are some limitations to the Game Sharing feature.

Your friend can only play your games when you are signed in to Xbox Live. This means that your friend cannot play your games offline unless you have your Xbox set as their home Xbox.
You can only change your home Xbox five times per year. This means that you cannot switch between friends too often. If you reach your limit for the year, you will have to wait until the next year to change your home Xbox again.
Do remember that certain types of content may not be shareable. This includes in-game currency, Minecraft skin mashups, and Halo REQ packs purchased with in-game currency. In-game currency or cosmetics that your friend purchases will not be accessible on your profile so you will still need to get things like the battle pass or operator bundles in Modern Warfare 3 if you are interested in them.
