Short Answer: No! According to an official Blog Post by Epic Games, there's currently no option in LEGO Fortnite to play in split-screen mode. It can be shocking for gamers, as the standard Battle Royale mode does allow for a split-screen play for Duos or Squads gameplay.
It may be disappointing, but all hope is not lost. Epic Games has stated that split-screen is "currently unavailable," suggesting that the mode might be added down the road via an update.

While you might not be able to play LEGO Fortnite split-screen, you can certainly play with your friends and have a shared world on which you can work together. Here's how you can set up multiplayer in LEGO Fortnite –
Create a new LEGO Fortnite world with all your preferred settings
Head to start menu
Scroll to the 'Players' tab
Select 'Invite Players' to add your friends who you wish to include in your LEGO Fortnite world
Once you've invited your friends, you can create a village or start exploring different biomes. That's not all; you can even grant your friends access to your LEGO Fortnite world, even offline, with the help of a key system. This feature allows for collaboration over multiple sessions.
So, while players can't simply pass a second controller to their friends on the same couch, there are plenty of options for playing LEGO Fortnite cooperatively!
