There is a bug in Apex Legends that prevents players from queuing into any of the game modes and forces them to complete orientation matches. The error is quite uncommon but on 19th December, a large number of Apex Legends players ran into the issue and were unable to play the game. While Private Matches continued to function, a lot of players were unable to play Duos, Trios, Limited Time Modes (LTMs) or Ranked. Solution 1: Check For Server Issues
The number one reason for the Orientation Matches Glitch is due to server issues. Whenever new content updates release, the issue becomes commonplace. Here is how you can check if the servers are online.
Solution 2: Try Repeated Logins
Sometimes, the servers are full and all you need to do is keep trying to log in and you may be able to get into the game. The servers can be full right after maintenance or during major content updates.
Wait for the Apex Legends Orientation Matches Glitch
Leave the game open for a few minutes
Retry queuing into a different server
If it doesn’t work, try logging into a different server
Solution 3: Repair Game Files
Open Steam or Origin, depending on which launcher your game is located in.
Find Apex Legends in your Library
On Steam: Right Click on Apex Legends > Click on Properties > Head to Local Files > Click on Verify Integrity of Game Files
On Origin: Find the Gear icon next to the play button when clicking on Apex Legends in your Library and click on it. Click on the Repair button in the next popup.
