Apex Legends does not have a dedicated solos mode, and all of the game modes require you to function within a team setting. Duos and Trios are the only battle royale modes and if you want to play ranked, you will have to rely on two random teammates to work with you in each game. If you are tired of solo queuing and want to play with teammates, there are a few options available. There are looking for group (LFG) websites for Apex Legends as well as an official Discord server that allows you to find like-minded teammates who belong to the same rank to queue up with.
How to LFG in Apex Legends
The easiest way to find a group is by using the Apex Legends Discord server. There are channels within the server that allow you to team up based on your region and use the voice channels to play it.
Apex Legends Official Discord: https://discord.gg/apexlegends
There are also third-party sites like: https://teams.gg/apex which are more customizable and you can choose your preferred language, age group and other details to find like-minded players.
Teams.gg is a community-made website and you can use Discord to log into the service with no account creation needed. All you need to do is set up your profile when creating an LFG request and you are done.
The third option is to use streamer Discord servers. If you follow any Twitch streamers on Discord, they usually have community servers that you can join to find groups. You might find people that you synergize with and can grind ranked matches together.
Apex Legends LFG features are not available in-game and it is something Respawn Entertainment should consider adding. The only way to team up right now is by adding your teammates after a game using the “Invite to Party” option that shows up in the lobby.
When using LFG services, make sure that you tell people what kind of playstyle you have and what your expectations are from them. Setting boundaries in advance, when it comes to toxicity and/or playstyle, will allow you to have a much better, smoother, and friendlier experience.
