  • Respawn Entertainment is giving out community-created Apex Legends loading screens to fans.
  • Anyone can link their Twitch and Apex Legends accounts to claim six loading screens throughout June and July.
  • Fans need to watch partnered streams for an hour to earn the rewards.

Six Apex Legends loading screens are available via Twitch throughout June and July and you can grab them for free just by watching partnered streamers. The drops began on 1 June 2021, and if you missed out on the first Apex Legends loading screen, you can still grab the other five before August. The new loading screens are all community-created and the event is meant to highlight artwork created by fans. You do not need a Prime Gaming subscription to grab these loading screens. Here is a quick guide on how to link your Apex Legends and Twitch accounts and grab the new loading screens.

Community-Created Apex Legends Loading Screens Overview

Each of the ten community-created Apex Legends loading screens will be linked to a different Twitch streamer every week. Players need to keep an eye out on the official Apex Legends Twitter account for which Apex Legends streamers to watch each week.

Mark your calendar for the following drop dates:

  • Loading screen 1: 1 June - 8 June
  • Loading screen 2: 8 June - 15 June
  • Loading screen 3: 15 June - 22 June
  • Loading screen 4: 22 June - 29 June
  • Loading screen 5: 20 July - 27 July
  • Loading screen 6: 27 July - 3 August

Setting Up Your Twitch and EA Accounts

Your Twitch and EA accounts need to be linked while you’re watching the streams. To do this, simply follow these steps.

  1. Make sure your Steam/Origin/Microsoft Gamertag, Nintendo Switch Online Account, or PlayStation Network ID is linked to your EA Account.
  2. Once your accounts are connected, go to Twitch and sign in or create an account. https://www.ea.com/en-gb/twitchlinking
  3. Log in to the Twitch account where you want to watch the streams and get rewards.
  4. Enter your EA Account info on the “Connect with Twitch” screen and click Next.

How to Start Earning the Community-Created Apex Legends Loading Screens

There are a total of six loading screens available throughout Apex Legends: Legacy

  1. Each load screen will be available one at a time and for an eight-day period
  2. To earn each screen, be sure to watch one of the designated Twitch streamers for one continuous hour (switching between streamers for an hour will not count.)
  3. Once you’ve earned a screen and you boot Apex Legends, a redemption message will show up with the title “Twitch Drops”

Dismiss the message and the community-created Apex Legends loading screens will be available on your account.
