Nigma Galaxy has recently announced the return of Aliwi "w33" Omar to the organization as a content creator and streamer.
The player last played competitively for Team Bald Reborn, the team created by popular Dota 2 streamer, Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski.
W33 was one of the more prominent professional Dota 2 players in the past, even finishing second at The International 6 and The International 9.

Nigma Galaxy has recently announced the return of Aliwi "w33" Omar to the organization, but this time as a streamer and content creator. The player has competed with the team professionally in the past but now aims to have a separate role within the organization.

The player last competed with Team Bald Reborn in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Western Europe (WEU) 2023 Tour 3: Open Qualifiers #3, but failed to qualify for Division II, forfeiting their games. The new streamer and content creator for Nigma Galaxy has a storied past in the competitive Dota 2 scene, finishing 2nd place at The International (TI) twice, once at TI6, and the other at TI9.

W33 Returns To Nigma Galaxy

Nigma Galaxy announced W33’s return on Twitter with a hyped announcement video, which shows an unknown player enter the scene and receive a message on the phone from Nigma Galaxy which says “IT’S TIME”. The player then puts on the team’s jersey and is eventually shown to be w33.

Prior to his entry into the professional Dota 2 scene, w33 was a well-known pub star, often compared in popularity to players such as Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi. Similar to Miracle-, he was among the first to make the leap to the tier-1 scene without any past experience playing professional Dota 2. The Romanian player initially played for relatively unknown teams before attracting the attention of Team Secret in 2015. Together, the team won The Shanghai Major 2016.

W33 is one of the three players who have reached the Grand Finals of The International twice without emerging as the champions, alongside Xu "fy" Linsen and Wang "Ame" Chunyu. He has secured two second-place finishes at The International 6 and The International 9.

Nigma Galaxy's decision to bring back w33 as a streamer and content creator has undoubtedly piqued the interest of Dota 2 enthusiasts. As a former player for the organization and with notable achievements under his belt, w33's return presents an exciting opportunity for Nigma Galaxy to further engage with the community and provide entertaining and insightful content.
