TI6 Champion & Former PSG.LGD Offlaner Faith_Bian Reportedly Gets Married

The International 2016 (TI6) champion and one of the greatest Dota 2 players in Chinese history, Zhang "Faith_bian" Ruida, has reportedly gotten married to his girlfriend, Yun earlier today. During the 2021/2022 Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season, Faith_bian announced that he will be retiring from the Dota 2 competitive scene after The International 2022 (TI11) following his recent two-year stint with Chinese juggernauts PSG.LGD.

Additionally, he also stated that he wanted to spend more time with his girlfriend following his retirement after finishing in 5th-6th place with PSG.LGD at TI11.

Recently retired Faith_bian is now a married man

Chinese Dota 2 news aggregator @ESGO_DOTA2 recently posted a status showing a marriage registration with a picture of Zhang "Faith_bian" Ruida and his girlfriend Yun. The marriage was officially confirmed today according to the registration.

Faith_bian's fame comes from different parts of his competitive journey. One of his most notable eras was The International 2016 (TI6), where Faith_bian, Chu “shadow” Zeyu, Zhou “bLink” Yang, Li “iceice” Peng and Zhang "y`" Yiping were crowned as the Dota 2 world champions at the time and took home $9,139,002 USD in prizepool winnings.

Faith_bian would end playing for EHOME for the next couple of years before being picked up by PSG.LGD in 2020. Faith_bian and PSG.LGD went on a dominating streak in 2021, as the team won the Weplay Animajor on top of multiple top four finishes in various competitions. While Faith_bian managed to reach his second grand finals at The International 2021 (TI10) with PSG.LGD, he fell one stop short of becoming a two-time TI winner despite having played beyond expectations.

While Faith_bian went on to stay with the team for a successful 2022 season, he officially announced that he would be retiring from the competitive scene after TI11 as he wanted to spend more time with his beloved, making PSG.LGD his last competitive team.

After almost two months since his official retirement, he has officially tied the knot with his partner. A big congratulations to the newly married couple!
