T1 secures 2-0 win over Neon Esports in the DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I
The team moves up to the top of the tables as a result of this win with a 4-1 win-loss record
In the post match interview, Kenny "Xepher" Deo spoke about the team’s current weaknesses saying, "If we don’t have any idea about how to play it, I am not sure that we can play really well with those heroes."

After a disappointing start to Tour 2 with 0-2 loss against Polaris Esports, T1 looks like it has returned to form. The team has swept the region since the loss, securing four wins on the trot to return to the top of the Tour 2 DPC SEA 2021 Upper Division tables. In its latest series against Neon Esports, T1 dominated both games of the BO3 series securing an easy 2-0 victory on the back of solid teamfight execution and strong performances from Kim "Gabbi" Villafuerte Santos and Karl "Karl" Matthew Baldovino.

In Game 1 of the series, Karl had a strong showing on Void Spirit making play all around the map, finding pick offs and kept Neon Esports on its toes, while Gabbi focussed on farming and gearing up for the late game. This gambit paid off as Gabbi managed to overwhelm Neon Esports with an overwhelming amount of damage in the later stages, clinching the victory for T1.

Game 2 was a lot more one-sided with T1 winning all three lanes and snowballing hard. Gabbi once again had a standout performance on his Tiny dishing out a ridiculous amount of damage finishing the game with a 18/1/3 KDA.

The team cemented the 2-0 win and moved to the top of the DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I with a 4-1 scoreline.

Xepher Thinks T1’s Biggest Weakness is the Team’s Heroes

In the post match interview, Kenny "Xepher" Deo spoke about the team’s current weaknesses and explained that it was the team’s hero pool. “Our weakness maybe depends on our heroes. If we don’t have any idea about how to play it, I am not sure that we can play really well with those heroes. I think it is our one weakness.”

Xepher also spoke about the positive impact of coach Park "March" Tae-won in T1’s bootcamp stating that he makes the team happy with his presence.

T1’s next game is on April 14th, against arguably their toughest opponents in SEA, BOOM Esports. Considering the strength of the two teams and the high stakes, it is going to be a cracking series.
