Team Aster is competing at Dreamleague Season 20, which is the team’s first international competition after the addition of Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan to its roster.
The team recently qualified for the Bali Major 2023 after an impressive performance in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) China 2023 Tour 3: Division I.
In its recent match against Gaimin Gladiators, SumaiL paused the game due to a literal housefly in the practice room, making for a hilarious moment in the tournament.

As the Dreamleague Season 20 continues to unfold, Aster, one of China's formidable Dota 2 teams, finds itself in the thick of the competition. With a solid performance thus far, sitting tied for 4th place alongside OG and Beastcoast, every match becomes crucial for securing a spot in Group Stage 2. Aster, fresh off its qualification for the Bali Major 2023, recently acquired the talented Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan to bolster its roster. However, amidst the match against Gaimin Gladiators, an unexpected and humorous incident took place that had even the casters laughing.

A fly shows up to bother SumaiL

During Aster's match against Gaimin Gladiators, a seemingly innocuous interruption injected a moment of hilarity into the game. SumaiL, known to be one of the most mechanically gifted players in the world, paused the game due to the presence of a literal housefly in the team's practice room. The unusual nature of the pause caught both the spectators and the casters off guard, prompting an amusing exchange between Troels Lyngholt "syndereN" Nielsen and Shannon "SUNSfan" Scotten.

"Fly? Is there a fly in the room? <laughs> I don't know if I've ever seen a pause for a fly. If it was a cockroach or something, sure," Sunsfan said.

"I'm pretty sure if Fly (the player) walked into the room, I would pause as well. Shopify Rebellion should not be scouting and spying on your games like this. You have to watch the replay, Fly. This is a private team room," SyndereN added.

As Aster navigates its path through Dreamleague Season 20, its recent acquisition of SumaiL adds a new dimension to its gameplay. With every match being crucial for the team’s progression into the next stage of the tournament, the stakes are high and every player must play at their peak in order to beat the competition. The unexpected fly pause during the team’s match against Gaimin Gladiators provided a lighthearted and memorable moment for fans and casters alike. As the tournament unfolds, fans will be anticipating how Aster performs and whether they can make it all the way to win the championship.
