In a post-match winner’s interview, Daniel "Stormstormer" Schoetzau described his thoughts after qualifying to The International 2022 (TI11)’s group stage.
The Entity mid laner credited the team’s coach, Daniil "MeTTpuM" Gilev for the team’s performance as well as drafting.
He also noted that the team will take a short break following the qualification, with him returning to his hometown of Munich for the Oktoberfest festival.

Despite having a rough start at the start of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season, Entity managed to qualify for the biggest Dota 2 tournament of the year, The International 2022 (TI11) after having a rise of form at the start of the third tour of the Western Europe (WEU) DPC: Division I.

Following the victory in the Grand Finals of the WEU Regional Qualifiers, Daniel "Stormstormer" Schoetzau went on a post-match winner’s interview alongside the caster duo of Owen "ODPixel" Davies and Maurice "KheZu" Gutmann.

“It feels pretty freaking good!” Stormstormer talks about WEU Grand Finals and plans after the victory

In the post-match winner’s interview, Stormstormer described the atmosphere of Entity’s teamhouse following the 3-0 stomp against Team Secret in the Grand Finals of the WEU Regional Qualifier. “Hey guys, thanks! I don’t know, it’s kind of crazy honestly. I don’t know what just happened but it feels pretty freaking good” said Stormstormer after the victory.

When ODPixel asked about the mid laner’s opinion on the team’s undefeated run from the TI11 WEU Regional Qualifiers, Stormstormer replied by saying “I mean without dropping a single game, of course it is a bit of a wild achievement but we were very confident going into this qualifiers for sure. We would have been sad if we did not achieve anything other than a top three finish in the qualifiers, we all wanted to go to Singapore for TI. So yeah, we did not expect to do that well but in the end our drafts and our playstyle just worked out.”

KheZu then went on to ask the mid laner about the team’s coach, Daniil "MeTTpuM" Gilev in terms of his drafting impact and performances throughout the year. “For sure, he has a gigantic impact in terms of preparation. Like, he is doing everything so that no players are literally worrying about the draft. We don’t even know what our opponent’s favorite heroes are, so going into the drafting phase the coach would sit down with Tobi[Tobias "Tobi" Buchner] and simulate the drafts as well looking at Dotabuff statistics.”

The casters then asked Stormstormer on the team’s plans following the qualification to TI11. Stormstormer went on to say that most of the team will return to their respective hometowns to take a short break before beginning bootcamp at the end of the month.

“I will, for sure, take a break after this qualifier. We will begin boot camp before TI11 like every other team attending for sure but my hometown is in Munich, Germany and the Oktoberfest festival just started so that’s what I’m looking forward to. So most of us will go on vacation, except Pure [Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko] maybe. He is kind of a crazy guy, he might just play 12 pub games tomorrow. CIS carries are crazy.” said Stormstormer when asked about the team’s plans after the qualifiers.

Stormstormer and Entity are the last team to qualify for TI11’s Group Stage from the regional qualifiers, alongside Hokori, Soniqs, BetBoom Team, RNG and Talon Esports. Entity, along with 19 other teams, will begin their TI11 journey from the group stage on 15th October.
