Spider Pigz End Gorgc and Team Bald Reborn's TI Dream in The Lower Bracket

The dreams of the Team Bald Reborn (TBR) squad come to an unfortunate end as they were knocked out of the lower bracket of the EU TI10 qualifiers following a 2-1 loss against Spider Pigz. While TBR has not been one of the region’s top teams, their squad of star-studded players and popular streamers Gorgc and XcaliburYe has quickly gained them a fan following. And while their journey to TI comes to an unfortunate end, we hope to see more of them in the next season. On the other hand, Spider Pigz move onto the next round of the lower bracket and one step closer in their own journey to taking the one available spot to TI10 at the EU qualifiers.

Gorgc and Team Bald Reborn Take an Early Exit From the EU TI10 Qualifiers

Recap

Game one saw Spider Pigz completely outplay TBR right from the start. Spider Pigz won all of their lanes and completely choked TBR of resources which TBR could do nothing about. Funn1k on his Night Stalker completely decimated TBR in every fight and ended the game without a single death. The game quickly ended after Spider Pigz secured their second Roshan and took precious pickoffs on TBR.

Game two was a classic Dota 2 ultra late game wringer that stretched on for more than an hour. The net worth lead went back and forth between the two teams up until the forty-minute mark when Team Bald won a series of crucial fights that bolstered their lead. While both teams had excellent late-game heroes, Spiderpigz with the Terrorblade and TBR with their Morph. The massive lead that TBR had eventually won them the game with brute force.

Game three was a disappointing follow-up to the godlike marathon that game two proved to be. Spider Pigz went back to their comfort picks like the Invoker and Timbersaw and completely demolished TBR. The cores of Spider Pigz went out of control very early on with their lead and snowballed to victory.

While Team Bald Reborn is certainly disappointed with the result, Gorgc in a stream revealed that they were happy with what they had achieved so far. It will be interesting to see if the team will stick together for the next season of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit (DPC).
