According to recent announcements, the 20 invited teams have been revealed, with Western European (WEU) teams having the highest number of invites.
The event is also seen to have been shifted back 2 days to 19th July from its initial date of 17th July, adding two more days of waiting for fans.

The highly anticipated Riyadh Masters 2023 has recently revealed the teams that will be participating, and the list involves some of the best and most well-known teams from around the world. Additionally, a recent announcement regarding the event's schedule has led to a slight shift in the dates.

The Riyadh Masters 2023 will feature a total of 20 teams participating in the event competing for a gigantic prize pool of USD $15,000,000 and is currently the last Tier 1 tournament before we move into The International 12.

  • Talon Esports (Southeast Asia)

  • Execration (Southeast Asia)

  • Shopify Rebellion (North America)

  • TSM (North America)

Among the invited teams, seven out of the eight Western European (WEU) teams that competed in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Western Europe (WEU) Tour 3: Division I have received invitations to the Riyadh Masters, showcasing the dominance of the WEU Dota 2 scene. Notably, the only team from Division I not participating in the tournament is Div I Hustlers.

In addition to the WEU teams, the event boasts the participation of four Eastern European (EEU) teams, three teams from China, and two teams each from South America (SA), North America (NA), and Southeast Asia (SEA). Nevertheless, the dominance of WEU teams remains evident at the Riyadh Masters, reminiscent of the recent Bali Major 2023 where all four top-ranking teams hailed from the Western European region.

Schedule update for Riyadh Masters 2023

The event, which was previously believed to commence on 17th July, has seemingly been shifted back by 2 days according to their post. According to a recent announcement by Gamers8, the tournament is now slated to begin on July 19th.

With the official announcement of the invited teams for the Riyadh Masters 2023 and a slight shift in the tournament's schedule, fans will be anticipated for the event to begin. The gigantic prize pool of USD $15,000,000 makes it an event comparable to The International, and teams will be vying to gain a lion’s share of the winnings.
