Highlights
RAMZES666 confirmed that SumaiL will not be joining Nigma in a recent livestream with Resolut1on.
He also confirmed that NAVI midlaner No[o]ne also had a tryout with Nigma but that he won't be part of the lineup.
Nigma is still yet to announce a replacement for iLTW, who was removed from its roster last week.

Nigma has had an underwhelming season so far in the Dota 2 Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021/22. It was even relegated to the Lower Division of Western Europe after a bottom placed finish in Tour 2 which saw them lose six series while only picking up a single series victory during the course of the tournament.

As a result, the team had to switch up things and decided that the best course of action would be to part ways with carry Igor "iLTW" Filatov in order to renew the roster. Speculation has been rife as to who will be taking his place in the new Nigma roster, with many stating that Syed "SumaiL" Hassan (who recently departed from Team Secret) or NAVI star Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenko could be roped in by the organization.

However, Russian carry Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev has shut the lid on these speculations by stating that neither player is currently poised to join the lineup in a livestream.

RAMZES666 shuts down SumaiL to Nigma rumors

During a livestream with Roman "Resolut1on" Fomynok, RAMZES666 spoke about No[o]ne’s tryout with Nigma, stating that it didn’t go well. According to transcriptions from escorenews, the two players initially tried to speak in code words trying to avoid naming Nigma and the players, but the veil was soon lifted.

The conversation started with Resolut1on asking if No[o]ne succeeded in his tryout with “Warm Country,” to which RAMZES666 replied no.” 'Warm Country' could potentially be a code word for Nigma which is based in the Middle East, known for its warm and arid climate.

When RAMZES666 was asked if he was aware of who they ended up adding to the team’s lineup, he said, “Actually, I don't. It's definitely not SumaiL, I know that. Maybe rmN-? Oops, I guess I blew it. Well maybe they'll invite W1sh or someone like that, I don't know. They did officially kick [iLTW] recently.”

Georgian carry Irakli "W1sh-" Peranidze was last spotted in the competitive circuit in the Western European 2021/22 DPC Season Tour 1 where he played with Brame Esports, securing promotion to the upper division. Unfortunately, the player was removed from the team before Tour 2 and is currently teamless.

No[o]ne is currently a part of the NAVI lineup and is expected to compete in the Eastern European Upper Division of the DPC 2021/22 Tour 3 while SumaiL is a free agent following his release from Team Secret.

The current team Nigma roster only has 4 players in it:

  • Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi

  • Ivan Borislavov "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov

  • Maroun "GH" Merhej

  • Kuro "KuroKy" Salehi Takhasomi

  • Roman "rmN-" Paley (coach)

Nigma will have to finalize its roster before the DPC transfer deadline closes on May 29th (Sunday).
