Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev recently announced that he has officially parted ways with Darkside following the conclusion of the EEU DPC:Winter Tour.
Darkside started the season well, however dipped in performance as the season progressed while also barely avoiding relegation.
He noted that the team were unable to solve the issues that occurred during the DPC, which mostly led to his departure.

Star carry player Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev had officially announced on his personal Telegram account that he has parted ways with his new team, Darkside after just barely two months of playing together. Following his second stint with Virtus.pro last year, RAMZES66 departed from the team in order for a new challenge. While RAMZES666 was rumored to have received offers from different regions, he ultimately ended up forming a new team called Darkside alongside former teammates Akbar "SoNNeikO" Butaev & Vladimir "RodjER" Nikogosian.

While the newly formed team started off well with two consecutive wins, they were unable to win the rest of their matches as the team barely avoided relegation by placing 6th in the Eastern Europe Dota Pro Circuit (EEU DPC).

"Overall, we started good, but ended terrible." - RAMZES666 on his departure from Darkside

Following the conclusion of the EEU DPC:Winter Tour, Darkside’s star carry player RAMZES666 announced on his Telegram channel that he has officially parted ways with Darkside.

According to Escorenews.com, RAMZES666 started off by reflecting on his short stint with his new team. While he noted that the team started the tour decently, he said the team had chemistry issues which prevented the team from performing at their best.

“I will sum up the first tour of DPC. Overall, we started good, but ended terribly. All because we weren't solving the issues that were appearing in the team, on the contrary, everything was getting worse every day. We could've missed even on our first two wins and drop out of the Upper Division, but we also would have won against the strongest teams of the region. It was very random. Everything depended on the mood and other things.” he said.

He then went on to talk about his future plans, saying that he had multiple offers from teams within Eastern & Western Europe (WEU) during the off-season before ultimately deciding to join Darkside. However, he noted that he will be waiting until the end of the Lima Major before deciding on his future.

“Before this season, I received multiple offers, both from EEU and WEU, a lot of them. But I declined them all. The last offer was the one I have right now, but, well... It didn't work out. I'm out of Darkside now, they will have another tournament soon, it will be played without me. Don't know what's going to happen next. I will wait until the Major is over, and will think about what to do.”

While RAMZES666 is currently a free agent, many within the community shared possible rumors of RAMZES666 being potentially invited to Team Secret as well as Nemiga Gaming’s Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak to replace Remco "Crystallis" Arets & Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan . Caster Troels Lyngholt "syndereN" Nielsen also speculated about this rumor during a podcast with Shannon "SUNSfan" Scotten.

“The last rumor I heard was that RAMZES666 is coming to Secret as a carry, and Malr1ne from Nemiga Gaming will be the team’s new midlaner, replacing BOOM. Both players are from Eastern Europe, and it seems Puppey speaks fluent Russian, or at least close to that level since he's from Estonia. Also, as we recall, he has previously played for local teams like NAVI. If that happens, Puppey will essentially return to his roots.”

While the rumors currently seem far from becoming true, there is a possibility that Team Secret will yet undergo another roster rebuild following its relegation into Division II for the upcoming Spring Tour.
