Gaimin Gladiators, the two-time Major Champion, is currently competing in Dreamleague Season 20 Group Stage 2, battling against some of the world's finest Dota 2 teams. Following its recent victory against Talon Esports, Quinn “Quinn” Callahan, the talented midlane player, was present for the post-match interview. During the interview, he shared his perspective on Valve's latest update, which revealed that there will be no Battle Pass this year.

Optimism versus Pessimism: Quinn's View on the Update

When asked about his initial thoughts on the absence of a Battle Pass, Quinn acknowledged that one could approach the news with either optimism or pessimism. However, he admitted leaning towards the latter, expressing his concerns regarding certain aspects of the update.

"I mean you can take it optimistically or pessimistically. I tend to view it as the the latter, so I look at it like okay, TI (The International) prize pool is going to be like three mil (million) or something, they're releasing it in September, it's got less hats. I mean, at the end of the day, and it's, I don't know, maybe it becomes better, maybe the prize pool is diffused throughout the year, you know, maybe there's more of an abundance of content, more affordable for people, you know, there's you know, pros and cons. I'm skeptical about this TI's prize pool because of this, but it could be good overall, we'll see” he said.

Quinn's skepticism arises from this change, questioning how it might impact the competitive scene and the overall success of TI.
