Qojqva Jokes About Signing Grubby for Arkosh Gaming
During a recent livestream, a player on Arkosh Gaming's Dota 2 team, Max "qojqva" Bröcker, expressed his preference for recruiting Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen, a former Warcraft 3 World Champion and Dota 2 newcomer, for the position five role on the team instead of their current teammate, Kim "Febby" Yong-min.
Qojqva believed that Grubby would be a better fit for the team and could potentially grow with the team's support. However, the team's owner, Jake "SirActionSlacks" Kanner, thought it was too early for Grubby to play competitively and suggested the possibility of recruiting him in the future.
Qojqva stated that he did not know who Febby was until he played with him
During a recent livestream, Arkosh Gaming’s midlaner Max "qojqva" Bröcker gave his thoughts on the current roster of his team. However, he initially disagreed with team manager Jake "SirActionSlacks" Kanner about the position five player of the team.
While he was hesitant to say his thoughts at first, he jokingly noted that he wanted to have Dota 2 newcomer & former Warcraft 3 World Champion Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen to be in the team instead of former TNC Predator support Kim "Febby" Yong-min since he was not familiar with the latter until they officially became teammates.
“I don’t think I can say this, but when Slacks told me what the team is going to be composed of, I asked Slacks on why not getting Grubby as a position five rather than Febby? Like for me, I don’t know how good Febby is because I legit did not know who Febby was until I played with him.”
While qojqva stated that Grubby would be a better choice due to the nature of the team and it would help the latter to grow, SirActionSlacks told qojqva that it is too early for him to be playing competitively.
“He told me the roster, and I was wondering why he did not recruit Grubby in the position five? Like he’s trying his best to learn more about Dota, and I can give him a few pointers while giving him orders. At first, Slacks told me that it is too early for Grubby as he is still a newcomer to the scene however he also said he might consider recruiting him in a year or so.”
He ended the topic by saying that he was unsure about playing with Febby at the time, as the player was seen relaxing a lot during the latter’s livestreams.
Following the team’s recently failed attempt to qualify for Division II, the team members of Arkosh have gone on to resume their daily practices as livestreamers while waiting for the next round of qualifiers.
